The Black Pig Sets Sail

Captain Hogwash and the Seawoman from Staines (AKA Trevor Mudd, director at Chandlers Building Supplies and Pat Thompson, manager of the Runnymede and Spelthorne Citizens Advice Bureau) set sail in The Black Pig on Thursday 15th September to take part in the Scally Rally Europe 2011.

In an epic adventure across four days and four countries, the trio will adventure from Calais to Rimini, over the Alps and the Dolomites, all in a £100 banger.

Team 35 will be setting sail from Dover on the 15th September in their Renault Pirate Ship to meet up in Calais with the other teams that will be taking part in the challenge and adventure that is the 2011 Scally Rally Europe.

The team is taking on the Scally Rally challenge to raise awareness and money for the Runnymede Rentstart project which is run by the Runnymede and Spelthorne CAB and helps people with housing problems to find privately rented accommodation.

Team 35’s trusty Black Pig was kindly donated by Chertsey Rotary Club and supplied by JR Parker Motor Engineers Ltd.
