Calling all dare-devil tradesmen
Chandlers Building Supplies is searching for tradesmen and women who are always up for a challenge, keen adrenaline junkies and feel the need for speed to take part in their Chandlers Champion charity campaign.
Tradesmen or women to represent each of the four branches in Ringmer, Lewes, Petworth and Thanet are being invited to apply to act as superheroes and experience an extreme sporting stunt for free. However, they will be expected to raise sponsorship money which will be donated to a good cause of their choice.
The first Superhero challenge kick starts with a Top Gun style close-manoeuvre flight in April, followed by a wet and wild white water rafting experience in June.
Our September Chandlers Champion will be jumping out of a plane at 10,000ft and freefalling for 30 seconds before their instructor opens a parachute. The final stunt will see the Champion getting back into the water to swim with sharks.
Richard Skinner, Chandlers Commercial Manager commented:
“This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has always wanted to try out an extreme sport but has never actually got round to it. All we ask is that our Chandlers Champions raises £250 each as a way of giving something back to our local community.”
Daring tradesmen and women are being asked to contact Chandlers if they would like to be considered for one of the stunts. All they have to do is write to Chandlers at chandlers@pmwcom.co.uk or Chandlers Champion Thanet, c/o PMW Communications, Stane Court, Stane Street, Billingshurst, West Sussex, RH13 5UJ.
*All Champions must be over 18 years and fit and healthy
